Butrfly's Wonderings

Happy 50th birthday to me! Don't feel any different. We have our first day of sunshine in weeks and life is good. My daffodils are blooming and all the song birds are returning to munch at the bird feeder. Looking forward to the last days of cold weather and frost so I can get the rest of the plants started.

Mom's surgery on her right eye was moved up earlier (today) because of loss of balance problems she was having. Received an email from her a few minutes ago saying all went well. Her friend took a picture of her to prove it. You can see it here.

Stuart just got off the phone with mom who says her eye surgery went okay and she's doing fine. She's staying one more night at her friend's house for a follow up appt. with her doctor and then will go home. She seems more worried about the separation anxiety her dog is going through from being apart from her for so long. :)

Glad the surgery went well. She was worried about it since a friend's recent eye surgery did not go as well.

Did some housekeeping on my website, updating nearly every page and adding a few pictures to all the photo galleries.

Microsoft finally fixed the FrontPage bug that lets us format photo gallery captions on themed pages! Hooray!

Happy birthday to my favorite brother! Love you Stu. Was browsing through some old photos of us and made an animation with several of them for your birthday. Lots of good memories there.

Mom is having her first cataract surgery today. (Oops, make that next Friday. Got my weeks mixed up.) If this one goes well, they'll do the second one in a few months. Feels very strange not being there with her. This is the first time I can think of that I've not been there to help her recover from her many surgeries. Love you mom.
